Advances in Characterization & Testing of Rubber Compounds at GPS 2026
Akron, OH – The Global Polymer Summit in Louisville, KY, will host symposiums on the Advances in Characterization & Testing of Rubber Compounds on Monday, September 28; 9:45 a.m. – 11:20 a.m. & Tuesday, September 29; 10:45 a.m. – 2:05 p.m.
This symposium brings together leading research on advanced characterization techniques, innovative testing methodologies, and fundamental studies of rubber behavior spanning molecular architecture, filler reinforcement, fracture mechanics, vulcanization, and additive manufacturing. Presentations demonstrate how modern analytical tools and novel experimental approaches are improving material selection, accelerating product development, and enabling more reliable prediction of in-service performance across demanding applications. Ten presenters over two days will showcase how advances in measurement science are driving innovation throughout the rubber industry.
Participants Include:
• Chris Robertson, Polymer Technology Services LLC
• Christoph Pielen, Anton Paar USA, Inc.
• Haley Dobbyn, Ace Laboratories
