Michigan Rubber Group golf outing held June 3

East Lansing, MI – The annual Michigan Rubber Group golf outing date is set for Thursday, June 3. The outing will return to Forest Akers Golf Club at Michigan State University in Lansing, MI, once again.  Load a team and plan on joining the group for a great day in central Michigan.

Arrangements have been made to play the Forest Akers West Course. Plan on a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. and to be at the golf cart by 8:45 a.m. Registration will be from 7:30 until 8:30 a.m. at the golf club. The event will be a scramble format. The 2021 price for all this event is $130 per person, which includes 18 holes and a half cart.  Please remit payment with a completed registration form before May 28 so Forest Akers management can be notified and make necessary accommodations.  

The Michigan Rubber Group is blocking rooms at the Candlewood Suites Hotel, conveniently located on-site, where attendees are asked to confirm their rooms by personally calling and identifying as a member of the MRG. The negotiated studio room rate is $79, and the one-bedroom studio is $99. The room block will be held until May 19, after which time they will be released back to the hotel.  A box lunch will be provided. Additionally, there will be prizes for the skill holes and each participant will receive a desirable keepsake just for joining.
