ArabPlast scheduled for December in Dubai
Dubai, UAE – The next staging of ArabPlast, a trade fair for plastics, rubber, petrochemicals and packaging in the Middle East/North Africa region, is scheduled for December 13 – 15, 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
Since 2004, Al Fajer Information & Services and Messe Düsseldorf have maintained a partnership, whose continuation was secured with the signing of a contract in Düsseldorf, Germany on February 27, 2023. “ArabPlast is the leading communication and business platform for the plastics and rubber industry in the Arab world. “I look forward to continuing our successful cooperation with Al Fajer Information & Services,” said Erhard Wienkamp, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf.
The Gulf States are not only top producers and exporters of petrochemical products but also suppliers of first-class plastics products. The robust economic conditions in the region ensure an excellent investment climate, which also results in increased demand for plastics.
The last edition of ArabPlast, held in November 2021 and still affected by the pandemic, was a resounding success with 217 exhibitors and more than 11,200 visitors from 129 countries.
ArabPlast provides experts and decision-makers from the region with an excellent opportunity to meet with raw material and technology vendors from around the world. It is the ideal platform for producers, processors and recyclers of plastics and rubber products to network, explore current market trends and establish new, or expand existing business contacts. For ArabPlast 2023 official national pavilions from Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Egypt, Austria, Italy and Turkey are planned.
The success of ArabPlast is also based on Messe Düsseldorf’s strong links with companies in the global plastics and rubber industry. Messe Düsseldorf’s expertise comes primarily from its role as organizer of K in Düsseldorf. At the recent staging of K in October 2022, the event brought together 3,020 exhibitors from 59 nations with more than 177,000 visitors from all over the world for its 70th anniversary.
“With the support of our international partner, Messe Düsseldorf, the organizer of the world’s No. 1 trade fair for plastics and rubber, K, ArabPlast developed into the leading event in the Middle East,” said Nadhal Mohamed, General Manager, Al Fajer Information & Services.
ArabPlast is part of the Global Gate service brand, which consists of Messe Düsseldorf’s worldwide range of international platforms for the plastics and rubber industry. With its own events and strategic alliances with leading regional trade fairs for the plastics and rubber industry – such as ArabPlast – Messe Düsseldorf offers the industry tailor-made business platforms in relevant growth markets.
