Aravind Kadhambariyil joins Endurica Europe as staff engineer
Luxembourg – Aravind Kadhambariyil joined Endurica Europe as a Staff Engineer on June 1, 2026. Aravind completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Luxembourg in January of this year. His research work focused on the development of advanced computational methods for analyzing aging and reliability of rubber components. He developed advanced thermal aging models for peroxide-cured EPDM rubber and incorporated the inherent stochasticity of elastomer behavior into modelling through Bayesian statistical approaches. His work resulted in methodologies capable of capturing complex, non-monotonic material behavior and improving long-term predictions of elastomer mechanical properties. His PhD work was conducted in collaboration with Sisto Armaturen SA and SnT Luxembourg where he applied his work with data-driven methods to assess durability of rubber components under actual operating conditions.
Aravind also holds a Master’s degree in computational Materials Science from TU Freiberg in Germany and a Bachelor’s degree from LBS College of Engineering in India. He has work experience at Robert Bosch GmbH in Germany where he co-developed computational approaches for phase-field fracture modeling and fatigue crack growth prediction.
“As Endurica’s offerings continue to expand, this is the perfect time to welcome Aravind to our team,” notes Dr. Thomas G Ebbott, Managing Director of Endurica Europe SARL. “With Aravind’s experience and expertise in elastomer durability and computational mechanics, he will contribute significantly and quickly to Endurica’s goal to expand to new products and new materials. His initial responsibility is to grow Endurica’s capabilities for Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPEs), as well as contribute to growing the Endurica business in Europe.”
