ARPM announces first plant tours of 2023
Indianapolis, IN – The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers (ARPM) announced the first plant tour of 2023. For the first time ever, ARPM is offering a two-facility plant tour at Chem-Trend and Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies on February 28, 2023. Both member organizations are headquartered in the greater-Detroit area and are going to open their doors so attendees can learn about their operations and sustainability practices.
One of the best benefits ARPM offers is member plant tours, and the end goal is to increase profits by maximizing efficiencies and learning from industry experts on what best practices make their organization run smoothly.
Pat Shannon, sales manager, Chem-Trend shared, “We aim to bring a unique point-of-view to ARPM participants through a first-ever tour of Chem-Trend’s global R&D facility and plant, and open discussion of our contribution to sustainable molding practices in the rubber industry.”
Additionally, Joe Walker of Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies shared “It is truly a pleasure to co-host this event and we are eager to showcase Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies’ commitment in materials technologies for the benefit of our industries and customers.”
Each plant tour event has something for everyone, so management teams of all sizes are welcome to attend. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from both organization’s leadership teams, tour the facilities in small groups, examine the innovating processes used on the production floor, engage in cross-talk and networking opportunities with other manufacturing professionals, and benchmarking their own facilities while getting key takeaways.
ARPM encourages all rubber products manufacturing executives to invest the time to participate in member plant tour visits. To reserve a seat or learn more about the event, visit www.arpminc.com/events.
