Apollo Tyres’ Chennai Plant has been conferred with 2024 Energy Management Insight Award from the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM), a high-level global forum headquartered in Paris, France.

ATIRE announces that its premium range of solid tires is now certified carbon-neutral. This marks a historic achievement in the tire
industry, as ATIRE becomes the first company in the world to launch a carbon-neutral solid tire range.
In November last year, ATIRE was certified as a carbon-neutral organization by the Sri Lanka Climate Fund (SLCF), positioning itself as the pioneer in net-zero emission solid tire manufacturing. The company has now reached a new milestone by launching the world’s first product-level certified carbon-neutral solid tire range.

The DESMA 968.500 ZOZO TWIN (S3) offers a new flexibility for future requirements or a very universal applicability. MI Group announces the official inauguration of its new facility in India. This new facility will house a new overseas extension to VMI’s global engineering and will also be the service, maintenance and upgrade center for the fast-growing Indian market.

The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) announced the recipients of two prestigious industry awards – the 2024 Polyurethane Innovation Award and the 2024 Distinguished Leadership Award. Smithers announces that Adam Stackpole will be speaking on an innovative tire modeling tool for the automotive market at the Automotive Testing Expo in Novi, Michigan on October 22-24.

Stackpole’s presentation, titled “Early-Stage Vehicle System Development with Tire Models,” will discuss the benefits of virtual tire modeling in early vehicle development and how laboratory testing informs tire model development. He will also introduce Virtual Tire Lab, a tire modeling service developed by Smithers and Stackpole Engineering that provides subscribers with a library of tire models that can be used to quickly benchmark tire performance or understand the tire characteristics that will be needed for new vehicle platforms. Stackpole’s presentation will include a demonstration of Agile Tire™, the software that powers Virtual Tire Lab.
