Bridgestone to offer free driving lessons for Akron teens

Akron, OH – Bridgestone’s Teens Drive Smart initiative is coming to Akron on Saturday, September 20, at Firestone Stadium (1575 Firestone Pkwy, Akron, OH 44301). This a great opportunity to teach new drivers safety tips as they hit the road at the start of this school year.

“Teens Drive Smart” provides teen drivers the knowledge and skills to make better decisions behind the wheel. In contrast to traditional driver’s education, which covers basic rules, lesson highlights include preventing accidents, tips for driving in diverse weather conditions, the dangers of distracted driving and basic car maintenance.

This FREE event is open to ages 15-21 with a valid driver’s license or learner’s permit. Two sessions are available on Saturday, September 20: 8 a.m. – noon and 1-5 p.m. Registration is required by visiting Akron.TeensDriveSmart2025.com
