Cabot increases prices globally for all aerogel grades

Boston, MA – Effective for orders accepted on or after October 15, 2026, or as contracts allow, Cabot Corporation (NYSE: CBT) will increase prices globally for all Cabot aerogel grades and Thermal Wrap™ flexible insulation blankets. Price increases will be up to 10 percent, depending on product and region.

The price increase is necessitated by continued increases in manufacturing and logistics costs, including energy, transportation, waste gas disposal, wastewater treatment and packaging expenses. These market conditions have increased the cost of producing and supplying aerogel products and insulation solutions globally, requiring a corresponding price adjustment. The price adjustment will help ensure that Cabot remains a reliable, long-term supplier of high-quality aerogel products.
