Two distinguished leaders will be recognized by the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers, Inc. (IISRP) at its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Dr. Elizabeth Delzell will receive the prestigious IISRP General Award, while Dr. Irina Yurovska will be honored with the coveted Technical Award. The formal presentation of both awards will take place on April 15, 2026, during the 66th IISRP Annual General Meeting in Houston, Texas, USA.

AirBoss of America Corp. announced that AirBoss Defense Group (“ADG”), AirBoss Manufactured Products’ (“AMP”) defense business, has received an order from the Canadian Department of National Defense (“Canadian DND”) for ADG’s Low Burden Masks (“LBM”), filters and related accessories under the In-Service Support Contract awarded to ADG in 2018 (the “JGSR Contract”). The value of this order is expected to be worth up to US$8.1 million.

Cabot Corporation announced that it has appointed William (“Bill”) Masterson as senior vice president and president, Reinforcement Materials segment, effective November 21, 2025. Masterson succeeds Matthew Wood, who ceases to serve in this position and as an employee of the Company effective immediately.

Wood’s departure from the Company is not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter related to the Company’s business performance, operations, financial statements, internal controls, or auditors.

Hankook Tire is supplying the Ventus evo SUV as original equipment for the Tiguan and Tayron Volkswagen models. A total of six different tire sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches are available for various model versions of the best-selling Tiguan, well over a million of which have been registered in Germany alone. Five sizes are available for the Tayron, a crossover SUV that comes in a choice of five or seven-seater versions.

In accordance with EU Directive 2024/3190, a Europe-wide ban on the use of bisphenol A (BPA) and its derivatives took effect on January 20, 2025. This decree applies to all industrial companies that produce, market or use materials that come into contact with food. The ban is based on comprehensive studies on bisphenols’ harmful health effects when they reach the human body by means of the food chain.

Denka Company Limited announced that it will record an extraordinary loss of ¥9,415 million in its consolidated financial results for the first half of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. According to the company, the loss stems from the liquidation of business operations at its U.S. subsidiary, Denka Performance Elastomer LLC (DPE), which has decided not to restart production at its chloroprene rubber manufacturing facilities.
