Lanxess reports improved sales and earnings for second quarter

The Group generated sales of EUR 1.561 billion, representing a 6.5 percent increase on the prior-year figure of EUR 1.466 billion. EBITDA pre exceptionals came in at EUR 152 million, up 1.3 percent from the EUR 150 million reported in the same quarter last year. The EBITDA margin pre exceptionals for the second quarter was 9.7 percent, compared with 10.2 percent in the same quarter of the previous year.

DKT 2027 opens call for papers ahead of Nuremberg conference

The international rubber community will gather in Nuremberg, Germany, from June 28 to July 1, 2027, for DKT 2027, with organizers inviting researchers and industry professionals to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations.

The German Rubber Society (DKG) said the conference will address developments across rubber and elastomer research and development, including applications, material testing, raw materials, sustainability, processing, simulation and modeling, energy, artificial intelligence and tires. Thermoplastic elastomer presentations will be grouped within a dedicated TPE Forum.
