Shibaura Machine to become majority shareholder of LWB Steinl

Shibaura Machine, a Japanese manufacturer of injection molding equipment, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to acquire 80% of the shares in Germany-based LWB Steinl GmbH. This move is part of Shibaura’s strategy to expand its presence in Europe, especially in the rubber and plastics molding market. WB’s site in Altdorf, Germany, will become Shibaura’s European headquarters and production hub.

Solvay advances worldwide circular silica strategy
