Specialty Silicone Products (SSP) announced that Bobbie Jo Bailey has joined their team as Quality Control (QC) Lab Leader. She’s currently learning about SSP’s manufacturing processes and laboratory test equipment as she connects with colleagues and masters her new role.

Before joining SSP, Bobbie Jo worked for Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics in Granville, New York for 20 years. There, she worked in Manufacturing, spent six years in QC, and then worked in Quality Assurance/Document Control for five years.

Bridgestone announced the company supported three podium finishes for Team Honda Research West (THRW), a team made up of Honda associates who race and crew in their spare time, on Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS tires at the 2023 National Auto Sport Association (NASA) 25 Hours of Thunderhill Nov. 10-12, 2023. The NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill is the longest closed-course endurance race in North America and is often considered one of the most grueling endurance races in the nation, attracting amateur and professional sports car drivers from around the world.

Guill Tool recently announced the hire of two new employees. Nick Comeau and Brandon Ribeiro join Guill as Design Engineers. The announcement was made by Chuck Paull, Chief Marketing Officer, at the company’s West Warwick, Rhode Island headquarters.

The Rebelle Rally, entering its eighth year, is the longest competitive off-road rally in the United States. The world-class event is an endurance competition for women that traverses over 2,500 kilometers through Nevada and California’s iconic terrain.
