Arkema achieved two major steps in its plans to develop the supply of Forane 1233ZD

In line with its previously announced plans to develop the supply of fluorinated specialty solution 1233zd, Arkema announces the successful start-up of the production facility of its partner Aofan in China. Additionally, Arkema has launched the construction phase of the 1233zd line at its Calvert City, United States, manufacturing plant. These two units will increase the global availability of Forane® 1233zd over the next 18 months.

PSNA is a leader in coating, adhesive and sealant solutions with 2022 estimated net sales of USD 100 million. With more than 150 employees and manufacturing plants in California, Arizona, Texas, Georgia and Massachusetts, PSNA will accelerate the growth of Solutions & Products, especially in waterproofing and coatings. PSNA’s innovation-driven approach is highly complementary to Holcim’s existing building envelope business and is expected to generate significant synergies.

Registration now open for M.R. Toub silicone training course

The silicone elastomers technology and fabrication course will be held January 31 through February 3, 2023 at California State Polytechnic University Pomona. Six LSR industry experts will share their expertise in the fields of chemistry, mold building, demolding, fluid dispensing, equipment and processing liquid silicone rubber. This 4-day course includes a full day at M.R. Mold & Engineering where attendees will work at the molding machines with the instructors, putting to use what has been learned in the classroom.
