Datwyler to demonstrate advanced portfolio at IZB 2022

Schattdorf, Switzerland – Datwyler will present its advanced portfolio for the new mobility sector at the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) – to be held in Wolfsburg, Germany, from 11-13 October. In one of the first in-person events to be held since Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, the company is excited to present its capabilities on a face-to-face basis, reinforcing the importance of working in partnership as the industry transitions to applications such as battery electric and fuel cell technologies.

Visitors to Hall 2, Booth 2609 will be able to interact directly with Datwyler’s latest innovations in areas such as Electroactive Polymers (EAP) for interiors applications, Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs) for battery systems and Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) for e-powertrain solutions. Experts will be available to discuss customers’ unique requirements directly. Demonstrators will also be present at the booth, showing EAP technology in operation, as well as Datwyler’s advanced technologies such as printed and integrated electronics.

“As one of Europe’s leading automotive trade fairs, IZB presents the perfect opportunity for us to meet with industry professionals in-person and to demonstrate first-hand the benefits of working with a co-engineering partner,” said Andreas Proksch, Product Manager Mobility at Datwyler. “Our Booth is representative of the advances the industry has made towards electrification. We are proud to be presenting solutions across a wide variety of applications – from e-mobility powertrains to vehicle interior solutions.”

Datwyler will also highlight its extensive in-house capabilities relating to materials expertise, solution design and operational excellence. “As a co-engineering partner, we are able to design and simulate system-critical solutions, develop material specifications and manufacture them on a local-for-local basis to enable our customers to achieve the best results,” said Andreas Minatti, Head of Business Development Mobility at Datwyler. “We look forward to many insightful conversations at IZB and to continuing to keep abreast of the trends driving the industry forward.”
