RPM and Cleveland State partner for environmental graduate program

RPM International Inc. announced a new strategic academic and vocational partnership between RPM and Cleveland State University (CSU). The partnership will provide world-class graduate-level education at discounted rates for three current environmental graduate programs: Master of Arts in Environmental Studies, Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, and Master of Science in Environmental Science. Continental expects higher earnings in 2023

Despite the challenging macroeconomic environment, Continental achieved its adjusted sales and earnings target in fiscal 2022. The company’s performance was particularly impacted by the effects of the war in Ukraine, the restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic in China, the ongoing semiconductor shortage and additional costs of around €3.3 billion resulting from price increases for raw materials, semi-finished products, energy and logistics. For the current fiscal year, the technology company expects higher sales and earnings, thanks in particular to rising production figures for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles and continued high cost discipline.

Thailand approves $218 million to guarantee rubber farmer prices

Thailand has approved 7.6 billion ($218 million USD) baht for the price guarantee for the 2022-2023 season and the program will cover around 1.6 million rubber farmers with a combined 18.2 million rai of rubber plantations.
Around 1.6 million registered rubber farmers will be able to sell raw rubber at a guaranteed price for the 2022-2023 season, after an assistance program was approved by the Thai Cabinet.
