The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., announced that its subsidiary in Singapore, Yokohama Rubber Singapore Pte. Ltd. (YRS), participated in an initiative that donated some 200kg of clothing and other items to 92 households in a local community located in Sibolga, a city in the Indonesian province of North Sumatra. The donation was made in December as part of a joint effort with Rubber Services Singapore 1877 (RSS1877), a supplier of natural rubber. This was the first time for YRS to participate in this initiative.

Nokian Tyres and its design-build construction firm, BC Construction Group (Brighton, MI), broke ground in early March on the 350,000 square-foot warehouse, designed by Pieper O’Brien Herr Architects. During Akron’s Mayor Horrigan’s last State of the City address, he unveiled a new City of Akron logo. The logo prominently displays an outline of the Rubber Worker statue, as well as, “AKRON” in bold letters, encapsulated in a chevron shape. It also features 10 lug nuts in the center of the tire to represent the 10 wards of Akron. The logo was announced via a video produced by Akron’s Pritt Entertainment Group.

It is severe snow service-rated and molded for optional studs offering outstanding on- and off-road traction all year round. Cambodia netted $79.370 million from the export of natural rubber latex and wood in the first two months of 2023, marking a slight increase year-on-year, even amid a decline in prices on international markets for the locally-produced white sap, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
