Davies Molding acquires EA Plastics

Heico Companies announced that on March 24, 2022 its subsidiary Davies Molding, LLC completed the acquisition of a world-class, high precision injection molder EA Plastics. EA is a global supplier shipping to international clients in Europe, China and South America  from their 30,000 square ft. facility. Headquartered in Flora, MS., the acquired business adds 15 injection molding presses, a full in-house tool repair shop and a wealth of molding and engineering knowledge to the Davies brand. RDAbbott announces interactive workshop for silicone fabricators

– R.D. Abbott Co., Inc. (RDAbbott) is hosting “Manufacturing with Silicone Rubber,” a comprehensive workshop for fabricators from August 22 to 25, 2022. This four-day course includes two days of classroom-style instruction at the Bounce Innovation Hub in Akron, Ohio, and two days of hands-on learning at RDAbbott’s Service Center in Barberton, Ohio. RDAbbott’s Craig Lustek, Application Engineer, and Rick Ziebell, Vice President of Technology and Technical Fellow are among the instructors, all of whom have extensive silicone knowledge and experience. The interactive part of the workshop will enable participants to apply what they are learning by using industry-leading materials and state-of-the-art equipment at RDAbbott’s 127,126 sq. ft. facility in Barberton, Ohio.

Mesnac delivered the first five-bed large-volume Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer in the domestic rubber industry

The exhaust gas of the rubber industry has large volume and complex composition, and contains a large amount of dust and oil. After the previous detection and analysis of the exhaust gas composition, combined with the customer’s production process, and using the industry experience accumulated by MESNAC for more than 20 years, the first domestic set of five-bed ultra-large volume RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer) treatment of organic exhaust gas device was successfully delivered. The project has the characteristics of large air volume, high processing efficiency, safe and stable operation, high degree of automation, simpler maintenance, and meeting the strict environmental protection emission standards of the rubber industry.
