Dunlop Sport MAXX tires are factory standard on Nissan GT-R

Tokyo, Japan – Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. announced that they have begun supplying their high-performance DUNLOP “SP SPORT MAXX GT600 DSST” run-flat tires to Nissan Motor Corporation for use as factory standard tires on their 2022 Model “NISSAN GT-R” and “NISSAN GT-R NISMO,” both of which went on sale this October.

The DUNLOP “SP SPORT MAXX GT600 DSST” was specifically designed as tires to maximize the performance of super sportscars such as the “NISSAN GT-R.” Incorporating cutting-edge run-flat tire technology while also boasting outstanding sporty handling performance, these tires have been equipped as factory standard tires on each iteration of the “NISSAN GT-R” since the 2011 Model, and so have played an important supporting role in the ongoing evolution of the GT-R Series. For the new GT-R models, our latest “SP SPORT MAXX GT600 DSST” tires feature the brand-new “Nano Black” design, which not only heightens the impact of the DUNLOP logo, but also serves to reduce air resistance.
