Dunlop Tires served as the official tire of Air|Water
Rancho Cucamonga, CA – Dunlop Tires North America served as the Official Tire of Air|Water on April 25, joining one of the most distinctive celebrations of Porsche automotive culture in North America.
Held in Southern California, Air|Water brought together more than 1,000 vehicles and thousands of spectators for a curated event celebrating the full evolution of Porsche. Created by the team behind Luftgekühlt, the globally recognized event series dedicated to air-cooled Porsche culture, Air|Water expands that vision to include the full spectrum of the Porsche marque. From air-cooled icons and modern water-cooled performance vehicles to electrified supercars, the event created a premium environment for enthusiasts, collectors, builders, and performance-focused brands.
Dunlop’s presence at Air|Water reflected the brand’s deep connection to motorsports, performance engineering, and premium automotive culture. A centerpiece of the display was the iconic Dunlop bridge, long associated with Circuit de la Sarthe and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The original version of the bridge was built for the first running of the legendary endurance race in 1923, making it one of the most recognizable visuals in international motorsport.
“Air|Water brings together a passionate community with a true appreciation for heritage, engineering, and performance,” said David Velasquez, Lead, Motorsports & Events, Dunlop Tires North America. “It was an ideal setting for Dunlop to showcase our motorsports history, our premium tire lineup, and our continued connection to some of the most respected performance vehicles in the world.”
Dunlop’s vehicle display featured a Porsche 911 GT3 R Rennsport, a limited-production, track-only model with only 77 units produced. The vehicle showcased Dunlop Racing Slick technology and reflected the brand’s continued involvement in high-performance motorsport applications.
