Dunlop to exhibit at CES 2026 in Las Vegas

Tokyo, Japan – Dunlop, a Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. brand, has announced it will exhibit at CES 2026, one of the world’s largest technology trade shows, held January 6–9, 2026, in Las Vegas, USA. At the event, the company plans to spotlight its proprietary SENSING CORE technology, designed to support safety in future autonomous driving systems.

The company’s booth will emphasize the role of SENSING CORE as a technology platform advancing mobility safety and integration. Visitors will experience interactive displays illustrating applications for the future of mobility, including logistics, public transportation, automotive manufacturing, mobility services, driving performance, and infrastructure.

At the heart of the exhibit, Sumitomo Rubber will highlight collaborations that combine SENSING CORE with AI technologies from Viaduct, Inc., a U.S. AI solutions firm acquired by Sumitomo in August 2025, as well as demonstrations with T2 Inc., a company focused on autonomous truck hub-to-hub services. From 2026 onward, the company plans to leverage Viaduct’s AI to accelerate predictive maintenance services for fleet vehicles and expand these solutions globally, including in Japan and Europe.

SENSING CORE collects detailed data on tire and road surface conditions. Sumitomo Rubber says this information can be used not only for real-time vehicle control but also integrated via the cloud with broader societal data — a development the company believes will contribute significantly to safer and more advanced mobility experiences as autonomous driving becomes more widespread.

The CES 2026 booth will be located in Tech East at the Las Vegas Convention Center (West Hall), Booth No. 7041, with a press briefing scheduled for January 6, 2026, at 11:30 AM local time.
