Elementis to showcase rheology solutions for sustainable sealant formulations at WAC 2026

London, England – Elementis will showcase advanced rheology technologies at the World Adhesive & Sealant Conference & Expo (WAC 2026), Sept. 16-18 in London.

WAC 2026 brings together manufacturers, formulators, researchers and industry experts to exchange knowledge, examine emerging trends and explore technologies shaping the future of adhesives and sealants.

As part of its “Adding Future” strategy, Elementis will highlight rheology technologies designed to help formulators improve manufacturing efficiency, deliver consistent performance and advance sustainability objectives across adhesive and sealant applications.

As sustainability expectations increase across the adhesives and sealants industry, formulators are seeking technologies that can reduce energy consumption, simplify processing and improve manufacturing efficiency without compromising end-use performance.

Elementis continues to develop rheology solutions designed to help customers optimize production processes while supporting the development of next-generation formulations that address evolving sustainability requirements.

As part of the WAC 2026 technical program, Elementis will present “Low-Temperature Organic Thixotropes Enhancing Sustainability for Future Sealants” on Sept. 18, 2026, from 12-12:30 p.m. as part of the Technical Conference Program.

David DS Rodrigues, manager, Global Adhesives, Sealants & Construction R&D at Elementis, will deliver the presentation. He will discuss how advanced organic thixotropes can support more sustainable sealant manufacturing through lower activation temperatures and improved process efficiency.

At WAC 2026, Elementis will demonstrate how its rheology technologies can help formulators develop high-performance sealant systems while addressing evolving technical and sustainability requirements.

A key focus will be Elementis’ portfolio of low-temperature-activation organic thixotropes, which are designed to provide rheological control while reducing activation energy requirements during manufacturing. By enabling lower processing temperatures, these technologies can help manufacturers improve operational efficiency, reduce energy consumption and support more sustainable production practices.

Elementis’ rheology solutions can contribute to improved process efficiency through lower activation temperatures, greater manufacturing robustness and formulation consistency, reliable anti-sag and stability performance, optimized application properties for modern sealant systems, and progress toward sustainability and energy-reduction objectives.

These technologies reflect Elementis’ continued focus on helping customers balance performance, productivity and sustainability in increasingly demanding adhesive and sealant applications.

The Elementis team will be available at Table 7 throughout WAC 2026 to discuss how advanced rheology solutions can support the development of efficient, sustainable and high-performing adhesive and sealant formulations.

Elementis experts will share technical insights and discuss application-specific challenges, including opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, optimize formulation performance and support sustainability goals.
