Endurica partners with Coreform for next-generation simulation technology
Findlay, OH – Endurica, the developer and provider of the world’s most comprehensive CAE workflows for fatigue analysis of elastomers, is now an authorized distributor for Coreform, a leader in next-generation simulation technologies. Coreform Cubit’s pre-processing and hex-dominant meshing tools minimize the time spent on model preparation for FEA and CFD while maximizing control over mesh quality. The addition of Coreform to Endurica’s toolset enables rubber product manufacturers and tire makers to automate and streamline mesh creation which is the most time-consuming part of computer simulation modelling.
“We are excited to mesh Coreform Cubit’s tools into our fatigue-analysis toolset,” explains William V. Mars, Ph.D., P.E., founder and president of Endurica LLC and founding partner of Endurica Europe SARL. “Endurica is all about rubber durability and making it easier to complete computer simulation models is a perfect next step for us. We worked with Coreform on two Department of Energy grants to improve tire tread simulation and realized a significant improvement in our internal process. That made us want to bring the power of Coreform’s Cubit geometry capabilities to our current and future customers.”
“Coreform is excited to have Endurica on board as a global distributor,” adds Matt Sederberg, Coreform’s chief strategy officer. “We have enjoyed working with Endurica on two Department of Energy grants aimed at helping the tire industry develop new and innovative tread patterns to reduce noise and improve energy efficiency. To have Endurica on the team to further adoption of Coreform tools is a big win for us.”
Coreform Cubit includes a comprehensive meshing feature set for surface and solid meshing, with a wide variety of element types and methods for automating and streamlining mesh creation. With Coreform Cubit, FEA engineers can mesh any CAD geometry with hex, hex-dominant and tet meshing algorithms. Coreform Cubit provides powerful, user-guided automated tools that enable solid geometry creation, CAD import and modification tools. Geometry analysis and repair tools enable engineers to fix geometric and topological issues through trimming, stitching, and rebuilding. Coreform Cubit’s unique, interactive tools enable efficient and robust conformal meshing of multi-volume assemblies.
