GAC Trumpchi to come equippe with Yokohama BluEarth tires

Hiratsuka, Japan—The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. announced that it has begun supplying its BluEarth-XT AE61 tires as original equipment (OE) for GAC Trumpchi’s new M8 plug-in hybrid minivan model that was launched in China in November 2025. The tire size is 225/60R18 104V.

The BluEarth-XT AE61 tire being supplied incorporates the basic design and materials technology used in YOKOHAMA’s “environmentally, human, and socially friendly” BluEarth global tire brand. It also features an asymmetrical tread pattern and high-rigidity profile that reduce the sway and uneven wear characteristic of vehicles with a high center of gravity. This tire offers an excellent overall balance of safety, comfort, and environmental performance.

The new M8 is a high-end minivan model offered by GAC Trumpchi. In addition to achieving an electric-only driving range of 106 km*, it combines advanced technologies such as an autonomous driving system with a luxurious interior.
