G&F Precision Molding is opening a new engineering and sales facility in Ireland
Ficksdale, MA – G&F Precision Molding has officially launched a new engineering and sales facility in Mullingar, County Westmeath, marking its first expansion into Ireland. The move is part of the company’s strategic plan to align more closely with Europe’s thriving MedTech sector and respond to growing demand from local customers.
The Mullingar site will initially focus on engineering, sales, and prototype development, serving as a launch pad for a future production operation. Over the next five years, G&F plans to create more than 30 high-value jobs, with ambitions to relocate to a larger facility by year three.
G&F specializes in advanced manufacturing solutions, including injection molded silicone and thermoplastic components. Its expansion brings Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) molding to Ireland’s trade sector for the first time—a capability previously limited to captive in-house operations.
The investment is supported by IDA Ireland and has been welcomed by government officials. Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke called the move “a strong vote of confidence in the Midlands and in Ireland’s growing reputation as a global hub for MedTech innovation.”
Ryan Mansfield, currently Director of Business Development, will lead the new Irish facility after relocating from G&F’s Massachusetts headquarters. President John Argitis described the expansion as a milestone reflecting years of commitment to building strong customer partnerships.
