HF Mixing holds ribbon cutting ceremony for new administration building

Freudenberg, Germany – HF MIXING GROUP held a ribbon cutting and inauguration of their new administration building. The modern administration building has been planned and built in Freudenberg, Germany, and is a huge milestone in terms of comfort and architecture. The elegant black building with its high proportion of glass shows the intention to offer employees and applicants an environment of „new work”. The new environment supports not only internal, but also external cooperation and new ways of communication with customers, suppliers and partners.

The new building symbolizes modern, agile and cross-disciplinary work. This is reflected in the entire complex with its large open office spaces and central communication islands. You can also feel it in the new company restaurant where even the bread is freshly baked in addition to three main courses a day. You notice it at the barista bar or in the company’s own fitness studio with courses for all employees. Peter Scholz, Vice President for Global Sales & Marketing at HF MIXING GROUP, pointed out the future of the company in his welcome speech: “Of course, the new building is a sign that we have great expectations for this location.” In the opening, he refers to the phrase from Heraclitus: “panta rhei” – “everything flows” and “panta rhei” determines life. We are at a turning point in many areas. It also applies to work and the new way of thinking about work which can be felt immediately in the new building. The project was successfully realized with “w:architekten”.

The overall measure consists of a new building with about 4,000 square metres, the refurbishment of the existing building on an area of 2,000 square metres. Ian Wilson, Co-CEO HF MIXING GROUP, emphasized in his speech the noticeable “change” associated with the project. His Managing Director colleague, Co-CEO Dr. Holger Rudzio, emphasized the same: “Even if contemporary business is more difficult, we are 100 per cent convinced that we will successfully master the crises of the global economy with new processes, new ideas and precisely new ergonomic working methods. We are giving work processes greater flexibility and agility.” Work will change through agile project management and flat hierarchies. Employees from different departments will now be able to work together in flexible work groups.

HF MIXING GROUP has sites in Germany, Italy, Slovakia, UK and the USA: the world market leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance mixing machines for the rubber and polymer processing industry and the development of customized mixing room systems including automation solutions. The company has 1,200 employees and approximately 400 work in Freudenberg, Germany. HF is part of the Possehl-Holding, which manages more than 200 companies with 13,000 employees.
