How fast-drying inks improve throughput in tire plants

When tire plants evaluate throughput, most of the attention goes to the major equipment: extrusion, curing presses and automation systems. That is where capacity is defined, and where the largest investments are made.

But actual day-to-day performance is often influenced just as much by smaller steps in the process, particularly the ones that sit directly in the production flow. These are the areas where minor inefficiencies tend to accumulate over time.

Tread striping is one of those steps. It may not receive the same level of attention as larger systems, but it can have a meaningful impact on overall line performance. It is also under increased scrutiny, as many plants now rely on camera systems to verify stripe color and placement. That added level of inspection makes consistency even more critical.
