IGS GeboJagema acquires ACH Solutions and FRP’s medical device business

Eindhoven, the Netherlands – IGS GeboJagema has expanded its capabilities for medical device manufacturers through the acquisitions of ACH Solution and the medical device business of FRP, strengthening its position as a full-service partner from early development through production.

The acquisitions enhance IGS GeboJagema’s ability to support customers across a wider range of materials, processes, and development stages, responding to growing demand for integrated and efficient solutions in the medical device sector.

ACH Solution, based in Fischlham, Austria, specializes in silicone rubber tooling, including liquid silicone rubber and high-temperature vulcanizing silicone molds. These materials are widely used in medical applications due to their cleanliness, durability, and performance characteristics. By integrating ACH Solution’s expertise, IGS GeboJagema broadens its technical portfolio and gains access to additional market segments within healthcare.

The acquisition of FRP’s medical device operations adds rapid prototyping and early-stage product development capabilities to the group. Operating from Wisbech in the United Kingdom, FRP’s ISO 13485 certified team provides services including CNC machining, injection molding, prototyping, and in-house CT scanning. These capabilities enable faster design iteration and help customers reduce time to market.

According to IGS GeboJagema CEO Herman Rusch, the acquisitions reflect the company’s commitment to simplifying the development and manufacturing process for its clients. By offering a more comprehensive, end-to-end solution, the company aims to improve efficiency and shorten lead times for medical device manufacturers.

Leadership from both acquired companies highlighted the strong strategic and cultural alignment with IGS GeboJagema, noting shared values around precision, quality, and customer focus. The integration is expected to combine innovative early-stage development with proven industrialization expertise.

The acquisitions are supported by IGS GeboJagema’s majority shareholder, BC Partners, and represent a significant step in strengthening the company’s global footprint in medical tooling and manufacturing solutions.

Headquartered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, with operations in Europe and the United States, IGS GeboJagema continues to expand its capabilities while maintaining its focus on high-precision tooling for the medical device and healthcare industries.
