IISRP elects Satoru Shiga as President-International for 2026–2027
Houston, TX — The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) has elected Satoru Shiga as president-international for the 2026–2027 term. The announcement was made during the association’s 66th Annual General Meeting on April 15.
Shiga succeeds Douglas Wilson of LCY, who will serve as past president-international.
Shiga began his career in 1993 as a chemical engineer at Nippon Oil Corp., a predecessor of ENEOS. He has held leadership roles across the ENEOS Group in technical planning, corporate strategy and governance.
In 2024, he was named senior executive officer at ENEOS Corp., where he oversaw corporate planning, strategic investments, carbon neutrality initiatives, overseas business development and biofuels. Since April 2025, he has served as president and representative director of ENEOS Materials Corp., leading global operations and strategic growth efforts.
He holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tokyo.

The IISRP is an international nonprofit trade association representing companies in more than 20 countries that produce over 70% of the world’s synthetic rubber supply. Founded in 1960 and headquartered in Houston, the organization also maintains regional offices in Milan, Tokyo and Beijing.
