Linglong Tire Americas takes off-road portfolio to the desert

Las Vegas, NV – Linglong Tire Americas Inc. has officially taken its off-road tire portfolio off the pavement—and onto the rugged terrain of Red Rock Canyon—marking the company’s first-ever ride-and-drive experience. Set against a dramatic desert landscape of towering rock formations near Las Vegas, the event offered a fitting showcase for Linglong’s expanding lineup of off-road tires, purpose-built for the North American market.

The ride-and-drive highlighted the Atlas and Leao R/T and X/T lines, which launched in the U.S. nearly a year ago. Attendees piloted a fleet of Jeeps outfitted with the tires through the challenging trails of the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, putting them to the test on a range of surfaces from loose gravel to rocky inclines.

According to Michelle Subranni, Marketing Manager of Linglong Tire Americas, the tires were developed from the ground up for the region’s diverse driving environments.

“These tires have been engineered for the North American market by a North American team for different elements, whether it’s for warmer areas in the U.S. or a whole variety of climates,” Subranni said. “We want our customers to be able to trust their tires. We want people to be able to come off the road and the busy city streets into a place like this and feel secure with their tires.”

“I look forward to building stronger, closer relationships with our current customers and dealers from a marketing standpoint, while working closely with our local sales team to support and help grow any new accounts we establish in the future,” said Subranni.

The tires are manufactured in Thailand, drawing on Linglong’s global production network while maintaining dedicated engineering focus on U.S. driver needs.

The Atlas Priva R/T and X/T lineup, available in sizes ranging from 16 to 22 inches, delivers a suite of on- and off-road benefits tailored to different driving conditions. The Priva R/T features optimized grip in wet and snowy conditions, a high-strength carcass for enhanced protection, open-shoulder grooves for high traction, and a design focused on delivering high mileage. The Priva X/T incorporates a variable pitch sequencing design that effectively reduces road noise, paired with high-angled grooves for efficient water evacuation.

Leao Lion Climber series—also available in 16- to 22-inch rim fitments—offers a distinct set of performance attributes for diverse driving demands. The Lion Climber R/T features biting edges for high traction and a wide tread design. The Lion Climber X/T is engineered with wide lateral grooves and interlocked tread blocks, delivering optimal durability .

In addition to the Atlas and Leao lines, Linglong Tire Americas also highlighted its broader off-road portfolio—including the Evoluxx, Crosswind, and Greenmax R/T and X/T tires—demonstrating the breadth of the company’s off-road capabilities at the ride-and-drive.

Positioning the expanded lineup for “everyday drivers and families,” Linglong Tire Americas officials said the company’s top priority is building brand awareness and demonstrating the off-road capabilities of its Atlas and Leao brands.

Jason Lee, Regional Sales Manager of Linglong Tire Americas, highlighted the brand’s competitive value proposition and distribution strategy.

“Though we produce tier-one and tier-two-quality tires, our prices are very cost-effective,” Lee said. “That’s part of our competitiveness in the market, and we would like to let consumers, dealers, and everyone know that.”

Lee added that distribution for the Atlas and Leao brands includes collaboration with established partner distributors such as TBC Corp., Tire Alliance Groupe, and Mavis Tire Express Services Corp.

Adam Homan, Linglong Tire Americas’ development engineer, said the characteristics of the company’s off-road tire lines are also intended to be eye-catching for “rugged off-roading enthusiasts. Our products validate the segment lines very well, and our objectives and performance targets for each X/T and R/T line really meet these niches.”

Homan, who has been with the company for under two years, said working together across teams helps drive growth for Linglong Tire Americas.

“It’s a very collaborative process of feedback on design and construction requirements. As our successive products continue, I hope more trust will happen within the echo of the North American market.”
