Silicone elastomers technology and fabrication course being held in January

Anaheim, CA – The Silicone Elastomers Technology and Fabrication Course is held in conjunction with California Polytechnic University at Pomona with academic credits offered. The course is held the week prior to MD&M West 2023, Anaheim, CA January 31 through February 3, 2023. Presented by a panel of experts in the silicone field, this is designed for all levels of experienced rubber technologist, rubber chemists, process engineers, laboratory managers, supervisors, technicians, shop foremen, quality assurance managers and engineering. Onsite training to learn the process of liquid silicone injection molding is done hands-on. The “Mel” Team (in fond memory of Mel Toub) instructs from the floor of the molding shop. This takes what is learned in classroom to valuable applied knowledge for students of this course.

The event in 2022 was hailed as a great success by attendees. Overall scores for the class were well above 90% and it was particularly noticed that the hands on training at MR Mold and Engineering on day three captured the classes attention and brought the lecture material to practice.
