SLTC and CIHUL announce the IV Rubber Technology Symposium in Guadalajara
Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico – The Latin American Rubber Association —SLTC— and the Regional Chamber of the Rubber and Latex Industry of the State of Jalisco —CIHUL— announce the IV Rubber Technology Symposium – Guadalajara 2026, to be held from October 28 to 30, 2026, in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Under the technical theme “Mixing to Transform: Updating the Mixing Operation,” the event will bring together professionals from production plants, laboratories, product development, formulation, industrial management, supplier companies, and institutions connected to the rubber industry value chain.
The academic program will address mixing as a key operation for the performance, consistency, and productivity of rubber compounds. The agenda will include conferences, technical exchange spaces, and topics related to formulation, mixing technologies, quality control, reproducibility, energy efficiency, sustainability, new materials, and industry trends.
As part of the program, the Pre-Symposium “Vulcanization Technology” will take place on October 28. This technical session will focus on fundamentals, vulcanization systems, crosslink density, rheometry, DSC, torque rheometry, and decision-making criteria for laboratory and plant operations.
On October 29 and 30, the Symposium will continue at Expo Guadalajara, together with a Commercial Exhibition that will gather companies, brands, raw material suppliers, equipment manufacturers, technical service providers, and industrial solution companies. The organizers report that exhibition spaces are still available for companies interested in presenting their brand, products, and services to a technical, business, and institutional audience.
