Specialty Silicone Products (SSP) introduces Chad Fleury, Operations Manager

Ballston Spa, NY – Specialty Silicone Products (SSP) introduces Chad Fleury, Operations Manager. Chad joined the SSP team seven months ago and is responsible for key performance indicators on both the industrial and laboratory sides of the business. He is also responsible for staffing development, productivity, and future automation through capital expenditures, a topic of interest for laboratory products. Chad supervises all of SSP’s mid-level managers except for in the Quality Department.

Chad’s background is in the food and beverage industry and includes 20 years of service at companies that include Keurig Green Mountain, now Keurig Dr. Pepper, Inc. Like the silicones industry, the food and beverage industry needs to meet strict requirements. Both industries prize ISO 9001 certification, but food and beverage also needs to meet FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) regulations and specific auditing and quality reporting requirements.

A native of Vermont, Chad graduated from Vermont Technical College in 2008  with a degree in electrical engineering. He then joined Keurig Green Mountain as a mid-level manager and took accredited courses at the University of Vermont in financial literary. He also took leadership training courses and later became a plant manager at Koffee Kup Bakery in Burlington, Vermont and Aunt Millie’s Bakery in Sydney, Ohio, where worked before returning East to be closer to family.
