Subaru Trailseeker to come equipped with Yokoma Advan V61 tires

Hiratsuka, Japan—The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. announced that it has begun supplying its ADVAN V61 and GEOLANDAR X-CV tires as original equipment (OE) for the new Trailseeker (European specification name: E-Outback) SUV-type battery electric vehicle (BEV) that Subaru Corporation first debuted in the U.S. in April 2025. The tires supplied in Japan and Europe are ADVAN V61 tires size 235/60R18 103H, and those supplied in North America are GEOLANDAR X-CV size 235/50R20 100V.

The ADVAN V61 is a premium summer SUV tire that offers the hallmark driving performance of Yokohama Rubber’s global flagship ADVAN brand range along with a high-level balance of fuel and energy efficiency, handling stability, and quietness. The GEOLANDAR X-CV represents a new generation in highway terrain tires meeting the M+S (mud & snow) standard, focusing on high-speed performance and drivability while achieving a high-level balance of safety, comfort, durability, and fuel efficiency.

Yokohama Rubber’s proprietary “E+” mark is engraved on the side of the ADVAN V61 and GEOLANDAR X-CV tires being supplied for the Trailseeker showing that it is a product equipped with technology that meets the unique needs of electrified vehicles, such as durability, quietness, and energy efficiency. The tires were developed using Yokohama Rubber’s proprietary HAICoLab, an AI-based development framework that aims to foster new discoveries and digital innovation by merging human inspiration and creativity with AI’s enormous data processing capability.

The all-new Trailseeker combines the driving performance unique to BEVs with utility at a high level. It is a model that is easy to use in both everyday and non-everyday situations and supports an active lifestyle.

Under Yokohama Rubber’s three-year (2024–2026) medium-term management plan, Yokohama Transformation 2026 (YX2026), the consumer tire business aims to maximize the sales ratios of high-value-added tires. One of the key initiatives under this strategy is promoting the global flagship ADVAN brand tires and the GEOLANDAR brand tires for SUVs and pickup trucks as original equipment for new cars.
