Titan teams up with NASCAR driver Ross Chastain
Quincy, IL – Titan International Inc. is launching an official partnership with NASCAR driver and eighth-generation watermelon farmer, Ross Chastain. The collaboration goes far beyond a logo on a racecar—it brings Titan’s full lineup of tires directly to the Chastain family farm, where Titan Ag Specialists are working side-by-side with Melon 1 to support the unique needs of watermelon production.
Chastain, known nationally for his success on the racetrack and his deep agricultural roots, called this partnership a natural fit. “I grew up farming watermelons with my family, and that will always be a part of who I am,” said Ross Chastain. “What excites me about working with Titan is that they’re actually on the farm, looking at our equipment, and helping us find real solutions. I trust Goodyear tires on the track, and now I trust Titan and Goodyear Farm Tires on our farm. That’s what ‘Ag to Asphalt’ means to me.”
The Chastain operation is anything but typical row-crop farming. From planting through harvest, the farm runs nearly a dozen different pieces of equipment, from Kubota M6 tractors to sprayers, trailers, and ATVs, all requiring specialized tire solutions. “Watermelon farming has unique demands across a wide range of equipment. Our goal is to make each machine perform at its best. If Ross trusts Titan on his farm, that tells other farmers they can trust us too,” said Scott Sloan, Global Ag/LSW Product Manager at Titan.
