Tokyo Zairyo opens Chennai branch to expand India operations

Tokyo, Japan – Tokyo Zairyo Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Zeon Corporation, has opened a branch office in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, with full operations now underway following its establishment in November 2025.

The company said the new office will support expansion in the Indian market and improve its ability to respond quickly to increasingly diverse customer needs.

Tokyo Zairyo previously established its Indian subsidiary, Tokyo Zairyo (India) Pvt. Ltd., in 2011 in Gurugram, Haryana. The addition of the Chennai branch marks its expansion into southern India about 15 years later.

The company said the two offices will work in close coordination to strengthen information services and customer support. It will continue supplying materials such as rubber, resins and elastomers to Japanese automotive parts manufacturers and processors operating in India.
