Univar Solutions expands partnership with SI Group

Istanbul, Turkey — Univar Solutions B.V., a subsidiary of Univar Solutions LLC, has expanded its distribution partnership with SI Group to supply a broader range of performance additives across select markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The agreement, announced March 11, extends the companies’ collaboration through the Ingredients + Specialties division of Univar Solutions and covers SI Group’s portfolio of additives used in plastics, rubber and adhesives manufacturing. The products include antioxidants, stabilizers, ultraviolet light stabilizers and impact modifiers.

Company officials said the expanded partnership is intended to broaden supply and help manufacturers meet increasing demand for additives that improve the performance and durability of plastic and rubber products. The materials are designed to enhance processing efficiency, thermal stability, protection and product longevity.

By combining SI Group’s additive technologies with Univar Solutions’ distribution network and technical support capabilities, the companies aim to provide customers with easier access to specialty materials used in polymer and additive manufacturing applications.

Matthew Oliver, global senior vice president of performance materials at Univar Solutions, said expanding access to SI Group’s technologies across the EMEA region strengthens the company’s ability to supply materials that support improved manufacturing efficiency and product performance.

The collaboration reflects both companies’ efforts to deliver innovative specialty solutions for plastics and rubber industries while supporting manufacturers seeking reliable additive technologies.
