Vanderbilt Chemicals names Joel Amaya as technical sales representative for Mid-Atlantic region

Norwalk, CT – Vanderbilt Chemicals, LLC, a manufacturer and distributor of rubber and plastics elastomers and chemicals, announced that Joel Amaya will be joining their team as the Technical Sales Representative for the Mid-Atlantic region. Joel has over 11 years of experience in the rubber industry with Prysmian .

Joel has developed cross functional expertise in the rubber industry through his various roles at Prysmian. He spent the early stages of his career in the lab as both a Lab Specialist and Design Engineer. Joel later transitioned into a position as Commodity Specialist where he grew his knowledge on sourcing, procurement, and commercial side of the industry. With a degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA, Joel brings a strong foundation in both technical and business principles, making him a valuable asset to his customers in his new role as Technical Sales Representative.
