Zeon selected for the first time for inclusion in three ESG FTSE indices
Tokyo, Japan – Zeon Corporation as been selected for the first time as a constituent of three leading ESG investment indices: the FTSE4Good Index, the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan, and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index.
These three indices are provided by the global index provider FTSE Russell and are designed to measure the performance of companies that demonstrate strong ESG practices. In particular, the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index serve as benchmarks for ESG investments by Japan’s Government Pension Investment Fund, while the FTSE4Good Index Series is widely recognized internationally as an ESG investment index comprising major companies from around the world.
FTSE Russell’s ESG assessment evaluates companies from a wide range of perspectives, including climate change initiatives, environmental impact reduction, supply chain management, human rights, occupational health and safety, corporate governance, and anti-corruption measures.
