RDAbbott to attend Rubber Division, ACS Spring Technical Meeting
Cerritos, CA – R.D. Abbott Co., Inc. (RDAbbott) will reconnect with customers and colleagues at the Spring Technical Meeting for Rubber Division, ACS on Tuesday, April 27, and Wednesday, April 28. RDAbbott will attend technical meetings and share tabletop exhibits at this hybrid event, which will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, Cleveland Rockside, in Independence, Ohio. Last year’s in-person spring meeting was cancelled because of the coronavirus.
Three members of the RDAbbott team, all of whom have Rubber Division, ACS roles and responsibilities, will participate. Krista Toutant, RDAbbott Business Line Manager, is the Assistant Treasurer for the Executive and Steering Committees and is a member of the Membership, Future Sites and Marketing Committees. Jerry McCall, RDAbbott’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, is a Past Chair member of the Rubber Division, ACS Steering Committee. McCall also serves as the organization’s Exhibits and Future Sites Committee Chair, Area Director for the Southern Rubber Group, as well as being a member of the Finance and Budget Committee. Scott Legleu, RDAbbott’s Senior Business Development Manager, is part of the organization’s Membership and Marketing Committees.
This year’s event is the 199th technical meeting of Rubber Division, ACS which seeks to enhance science, technology, and business across the evolving elastomeric community. As a result of the continuing pandemic, the host hotel and Rubber Division, ACS are taking appropriate health and safety measures. The technical presentations will be live and online. Presentation recordings will remain available for on-demand viewing for 60 days. In-person tabletop exhibits are scheduled for Tuesday, April 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from Wednesday, April 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Science and Technology Awards ceremony and presentations are also scheduled.
