Desma announces XpertForum focused on Ahmedabad, India, factory

Fridingen, Germany – In October 2020, the first digital in-house exhibition was held with great success at the Desma main plant in Fridingen. More than 1,300 customers from 45 nations benefited from the extensive offers and participated in the online workshops. The response was impressive, which is why Desma is continuing to develop this format in this trade fair-free period. With the first XpertForum from the factory in India, Desma offers an exclusive and interactive event for customers. In addition to live content, individual appointments can also be made with experts and sales staff for guided tours and to delve deeper into the content.

In addition to daily changing live events, the expert workshops will include topics such as cold runner technology, preventive and predictive maintenance, presentation of the new DRC 1030 operating panel, new special machines for special article groups and hydraulic oil management. One of the highlights will be the presentation of the newly developed large scale machine Alpha 700 SE for the production of, e.g., battery housing seals with heating plate dimensions of up to 2,450 x 1,400 mm. The complete machine buildup will be shown in time lapse.

In Liverooms, Xperts will also be available to answer questions about the workshops directly. All content is also available with subtitles in 10 languages, and for those who have not yet been able to visit the Desma factory in Ahmedabad live, there is a digital factory tour. Additionally, a fully digital factory tour of the main plant in Fridingen will also be offered for the first time.
