DESMA announces open house at its main plant in Fridingen

Fridingen, Germany – On October 1, 2026, DESMA will once again open the doors of its main plant in Fridingen for its in-house exhibition. Customers, partners, and industry experts will have the opportunity to experience the latest developments and future trends in elastomer processing firsthand. The focus will be on innovative machine concepts, modern automation solutions, and forward-looking technologies. As a globally established provider of machinery and automation solutions for rubber and silicone processing, DESMA develops customized production concepts that combine mechanical engineering, mold and cold runner technology, automation, and comprehensive process expertise into holistic system solutions. The portfolio is complemented by digital tools for applications such as CO₂ emission calculation, production data monitoring and analysis, and much more. At the same time, the company’s international locations ensure close customer service and reliable support worldwide.

In addition to technological performance, the development of the machine platforms places special emphasis on ease of use, safety, and ergonomic workflows. The goal is to simplify operators’ daily work and to make setup, maintenance, and material handling processes as efficient as possible.

Examples of this include, among others:
T-machines with user-friendly operation and material feeding directly from the floor:
Special-purpose machines with optimally accessible FIFO-B injection units via ergonomically designed operating platforms: BENCHMARK systems with ergonomically optimized accessibility and a FIFO-A injection unit for convenient strip feeding directly from the floor or via a step:

In addition to developing custom-designed special-purpose machines, we continuously invest in the further development of our standard machines. With the globally -oriented machine platforms of the vertical REFERENCE+ series and the horizontal SEALMASTER+ series, we are consistently expanding our portfolio and sustainably aligning it with future market requirements.

Following the introduction of the SEALMASTER 300+, the SEALMASTER 450+ DUO, and the REFERENCE 300+, the new SEALMASTER 630+ will be unveiled for the first time at the Open House. The machine combines high dynamics and positioning accuracy with a maintenance- and user-friendly design. At the same time, it offers maximum flexibility in the integration of automation solutions and ejection systems. With platen dimensions of up to 810 × 1,100 mm and an opening width of more than 1,100 mm, the SEALMASTER 630+ creates optimal conditions for demanding applications, such as fully automated multi-deck production.

The DESMA Open House 2026 offers international trade visitors the opportunity to experience the latest technologies and innovative solutions for elastomer processing firsthand. The focus is on modern large-scale machines, intelligent automation concepts, and the latest developments for efficient and future-proof production processes. The event is complemented by a diverse program of presentations featuring expert insights on current industry trends, practical applications, and future developments. In addition, the Open House offers numerous opportunities for personal exchange, nurturing existing contacts, and establishing new partnerships.
