Arburg publishes sustainability report

Lossburg, Germany – Arburg has now been publishing a Sustainability Report for five years to highlight the successful activities and measures of the arburgGREENworld programme. In addition to the topics of resource efficiency, circular economy and carbon footprint, this also encompasses Arburg’s entire ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategy.

This continuity demonstrates that, even in 2025 and despite the persistently challenging economic and global conditions, the company remains committed to driving forward sustainability and resource conservation – and not only to talking the talk about environmental responsibility but also to walking the walk. Arburg not only operates in a resource-efficient manner itself but is also a solution partner for its customers in the field of sustainable plastics processing.

The fact that Arburg continued to operate in a sustainable manner in 2025 is demonstrated, among other things, by the company being awarded the EcoVadis Gold rating for the third year running, despite the criteria becoming more demanding with each passing year. Compared with the previous year, Arburg had improved once again in all categories – from a total of 78 to 83 points – ranking it among the top two per cent of more than 100,000 companies. These companies were assessed by an independent body in terms of environmental performance, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainability of procurement. Furthermore, the ‘B’ rating in the 2025 CDP assessment bestows Arburg an above average position compared to other engineering companies in the areas of climate protection, ecology and CO₂ emissions.

The Arburg Sustainability Report 2025 is available exclusively online as an interactive PDF on the Arburg website.
