Mitsui Chemicals Inc. has obtained ISCC PLUS certification for its ACTCOL™ polyol products produced at the company’s Nagoya Works, the firm announced Wednesday. The certification, awarded in January, confirms that the materials qualify as sustainable under the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification system.

The goods manufactured at the 15,000-square-meter complex fully comply with the good manufacturing practice (GMP) guidelines of the European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients EFfCI. “Our facilities in Panagarh are truly world-class and will produce top-quality, high-purity products which are in great demand, in particular in the cosmetics and personal care industries,” announced WACKER Executive Board member Christian Kirsten at the commissioning ceremony.

Huntsman Corporation celebrated the grand opening of its expanded Performance Products manufacturing facility in Petfurdo, Hungary, where operations were initiated at the beginning of this year.
