Evonik and Gas Malaysia recently signed a Memorandum of Collaboration, focusing on upgrading biogas into biomethane, positioning Malaysia as a leader in sustainable energy. The pivotal agreement underscores Evonik’s commitment to advancing biomethane technology, and was concluded during the official inauguration of Malaysia’s first biomethane injection site, owned by Gas Malaysia.

From June 3–5, 2025 at the Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart, the company will present its latest materials developed to provide rapid charging and higher battery capacity. It will also demonstrate the high level of design flexibility these materials offer for their integration into customer-specific production processes.

The program has been officially announced for the inaugural edition of The Global OTR Conference, set to take place from October 1 to 3, 2025, at the Hilton Old Town in Antwerp, Belgium. Siemens is extending its Sinamics G120C-series of drives to include three new frame sizes for high power output ranges.  The new frame sizes cover the power output range from 22 to 132 kilowatts (kW), making the series available from 0.55 kW to 132 kW.  Standard features of the series include a compact design with optional filter, long cable lengths, full integration into the Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) Portal and simple control and commissioning.  The G120C also includes the “Safe Torque Off” function (STO) which prevents a motor from unintentionally starting.
