The 2023 winners will accept these awards and be celebrated at a banquet on April 26, 2023 during the Rubber Division, ACS Spring Technical Meeting in Warrensville Heights, OH. With the sale of its TAA derivatives business to SABO, Evonik is taking the next step in focusing its portfolio on specialty chemicals. The Italian chemical company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of light stabilizers, for which TAA derivatives are a raw material. On the sales price, no details are disclosed. The transaction is subject to approval by the competent Evonik committees. The closing is expected to be in early 2023

KKR has completed the previously announced sale of Minnesota Rubber and Plastics (MRP), a provider of materials science-based elastomer and thermoplastic solutions, for a reported $1 billion in cash to Trelleborg Group (Trelleborg), a specialist in engineered polymer solutions.
