Continental marks 10-year partnership with the Anne Springs Close Greenway
Fort Mill, SC – Continental Tires Americas marked its 10th year partnering with the Anne Springs Close Greenway in late 2025. What began as a simple financial donation in 2015 has turned into a true partnership, with Continental employees logging more than 500 hours volunteering with the Greenway through the years.
“We always love it when donors become true partners,” says Elizabeth Bowers, communications and advancement director for Anne Springs Close Greenway. “And the best partnerships come alive when the partners share the same mission. That’s why we enjoy working with Continental employees. Everyone has the same goal – to create a better tomorrow for our environment.”
Sustainability is a driver for innovation at Continental and has become fully anchored in the corporate strategy. With a global vision to “create value for a better tomorrow,” Continental’s ambition frames management approaches for the company.
“One of the first things I heard about when moving to the Fort Mill area last year was the Greenway,” added Tansu Isik, Continental Tires Americas CEO. “It is clear to me now why Continental has continued to support this special place over the years. It is a wonderful space for families to enjoy in our community, and I am proud to be a supporter and annual member.”
Continental looks forward to continuing its partnership with the Anne Springs Close Greenway, building on a shared commitment to environmental stewardship, community engagement and sustainability. Through ongoing volunteerism, advocacy and support, Continental remains dedicated to helping preserve natural spaces that enrich the Fort Mill community today and for generations to come.
