Leistritz Extrusion to host REX workshop May 13-14

Somerville, NJ – Leistritz Extrusion will host the 2026 Reactive Extrusion (REX) Workshop May 13-14, 2026, a first-time event to be held at the Polymers Center of Excellence (PCE) in Charlotte, NC, USA.

In addition to classroom sessions, REX twin screw extrusion systems and analytical testing methods will be demonstrated at the PCE facility. Outside speakers to include:

A second event hosted by the Society Plastics Engineers (SPE) Extrusion Division the SPE Extrusion Optimization TopCon will be held June 16-18, 2026 in Montreal, QC and will focus on extrusion theory and principles for single- and twin-screw extruders to improve quality, increase rates and achieve a more consistent and repeatable process – for any type of extrusion operation in any industry. The program will include:

  • 20+ technical presentations to improve extrudate quality, rate and efficiencies
  • Tabletop display area to meet and mix with key industry vendors
  • Panel discussion highlighting hot button topics
  • Reception for some fun!
