UTH to showcase advanced rubber and silicone processing technologies at GPS 2026
Fort Mill, SC – UTH will showcase innovations that help manufacturers improve efficiency, product quality and sustainability at the Global Polymer Summit (GPS) 2026, Sept. 28–30, at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville. Visitors to Booth #1036 will see technologies designed to boost productivity, reduce operating costs and increase process reliability across a wide range of rubber and silicone applications.
A key focus at this year’s exhibition will be UTH’s continuous rubber preforming technology. By replacing conventional batch-based plunger preforming with a continuous production process, the system delivers tighter weight tolerances while reducing material waste and energy consumption. Eliminating the need for a warming mill further simplifies production, improves workplace safety and enables more consistent preform quality, helping manufacturers increase throughput while lowering total operating costs.
UTH will also introduce the next-generation roll-ex® 300 TRF Dual Drive, developed to optimize economic performance of Fine Mesh Straining. Its redesigned dual-drive concept minimizes component wear, extends service life and significantly reduces maintenance requirements, resulting in higher equipment availability and greater production efficiency.
In addition to these new developments, UTH will also feature its modular roll-ex® Gear Pump Technology together with established processing solutions, including the Two-Roll Plasticizer (TRP), Polymer Dosing System (PDSE) and Mixing Conical Twin-Screw Extruder (MDSE). These modular technologies support applications ranging from Fine Mesh Straining and extrusion to silicone compounding and precision dosing.

As part of the conference program Bill Bisson will present the technical session “High-Performance Rubber Compounds: Benefits of Fine Mesh Straining and Gear Pump Technology.” The presentation will provide practical insights into improving compound cleanliness, reducing contamination and achieving more stable downstream processing.
