Inaugural edition of The Global OTR Conference to be held in Antwerp

Antwerp, Belgium – The program has been officially announced for the inaugural edition of The Global OTR Conference, set to take place from October 1 to 3, 2025, at the Hilton Old Town in Antwerp, Belgium. Organized by 102psi, this groundbreaking international event is the first to unite the entire Off-The-Road (OTR) tire value chain in one location. Participants will include manufacturers, service providers, recyclers, technology developers, and fleet operators.

The conference is structured around the OTR tire lifecycle and is driven by the urgent need for sustainability. As the industry faces mounting pressure to reduce emissions, extend product life, and implement circular systems, the event presents a forward-thinking agenda that treats sustainable lifecycle management not as a theme, but as a necessity.

The program begins with a keynote by Ciaran Little, Vice President at Smithers, offering insights into global market trends, forecasts, and the environmental challenges shaping the OTR sector. This is followed by a panel discussion moderated by Little, where leading tire manufacturers will share their perspectives on the future and the role of sustainability in their strategies.

Leadership development is addressed in a workshop led by Peter Flade, Partner at All In Works, titled “Learn to Let Go.” This session focuses on empowering teams to take ownership and drive sustainable change through autonomy and accountability.

Safety and service are explored in a session supported by KLINGE and moderated by CEO Al Klinge, which highlights how integrating safety into field services can enhance reliability, uptime, and lifecycle value. Another expert panel, moderated by Koen Vandermeersch, Founder of 102psi, will examine strategic repair practices that help keep tires in circulation longer, reducing the need for replacements and conserving resources.

Vandermeersch also leads a session on extended OTR service technologies, showcasing innovations such as digital platforms, tire protection chains, filling systems, and advanced monitoring tools that improve performance and support sustainability. Wheel and rim safety is the focus of another session supported by MOVEERO and moderated by Al Klinge, which discusses best practices in mounting, maintenance, and inspection to extend service life and minimize waste.

The next phase of The Global OTR Library will be introduced by Vandermeersch, presenting it as a digital toolbox of services and solutions designed to support the OTR tire industry.

Dedicated sustainability sessions, moderated by David Wilson, Publisher at Retreading Business, include a panel on OTR retreading supported by VIPAL, which explores the resurgence of retreading as a cost-effective and sustainable solution. Another panel, supported by GRADEALL, will delve into advanced recycling technologies, material recovery strategies, and the broader implications of circularity for the OTR sector.
