Hankook Tire announced its consolidated global financial results for the third quarter of 2025, reporting revenue of KRW 5.4127 trillion and operating profit of KRW 585.9 billion.

In the tire business, sales reached KRW 2.7070 trillion, up 11.2% year-over-year, while operating profit rose 10.4% to KRW 519.2 billion, marking the highest quarterly performance in the company’s history. The increase in sales was driven by stronger demand for both replacement and original equipment (OE) tires in global markets, along with an increased proportion of high-inch tires sales. Declines in raw material and logistics costs partially offset the impact of U.S. automotive parts tariffs, supporting overall operating profit.

Continental’s group sector ContiTech announced the launch of its new Continental Vantage hose product line engineered to provide dependable performance across a broad range of air and multipurpose applications.

The Vantage line introduces two versatile hose options, including Vantage Nitrile and Vantage EPDM available in both 200PSI and 300PSI working pressures. Each is designed with lightweight construction and flexibility, delivering easier handling and installation for both industrial professionals and general users.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing global technology group Freudenberg with €100 million in financing for research and development activities. The financing will support a total investment program of around €214 million with which Freudenberg aims to strengthen its innovative power over the long term. The focus is on projects relating to automation, digitalization, and the use of AI-supported technologies that will further develop the company’s broad product portfolio and secure its competitiveness. The Industrials segment posted $1.8 billion in sales, driven by healthcare and water technologies, while Electronics grew 11 % to $1.3 billion, fueled by AI-related semiconductor demand.
